I have been dealing with this camber problem with the dealership since September of 2002.. The dunlops wore on the inside of the tires.. all 4. The dealerships here has no idea what is wrong and got me 4 Parada spec2's in which I contributed $300... Now the tires are wearing inside after 5000 miles... So the dealership calls Mazda NA... The regional Mazda Rep is called and its investigated.... The rep said its all the dunlop tires.. those tires wear like that.... Thats B.S. because the Parada's are wearing the same... Guys & Gals face it there is a problem with the suspension.. Mazda doesnt want to screw with 1500 cars.. and we will get the run around if we dont stand up and say something... I have to call Mazda NA again this morning and go from here... This post will hopefully help... There is also more past posts about this issue... Go to your dealerships and raise hell... or replace our tires every 15 to 20k.. Let me know what you hear if you take your cars in.. I have been screwing with this issue for a long ass time... Any add on camber problems posted would be appreciated..

Just an FYI, I'm about to finally change my stock dunlops. I have 35K on them. Yeah, there is the inside wear but it didn't seem to be that bad. BTW, my car is also lowered so I've got a little more inside wear. Anyway, I've taken mine this long and I drive the hell out of my car!! Just remember, this car is already lowered and will have a little bit of camber (eventhough it sounds like it's pretty bad with yours), therefore you will get a little bit of inside wear. But, even after I lowered mine with GC's it only got a little worse. It's finally about time to change mine!
i had the same exact problem, they said it was the dunlops, My tire place said it wasnt the tire but it was due to bad allingment. I was dealing with this problem myself but now i got my snow tires on and they seem to wear fine. my dunlops were fine on the outside but the inside had deep grooves in them. I know the guy at NTB said my car was set to Protege` ES specs. i think the MP3 has different settings. he printed them out to me so im gonna show my rep. if he ever comes to my dealership. BTW some one told me its from cornering really hard. but neither NTB or Mazda mentioned it. But i know nobody with an MP3 takes corners to hard.=)
just one question for every one. do you take turns going fast? it doesn't have to be really fast just a little faster then normal. b/c that cause this wear on the tires.

my tires are wearing liek that too. but i drive like a mad man around corners. but i have seen some one that doesn't drive that hard with the MP3 and his tires are fine. so who know. just an idea

...Normal cars wear the outside part of the tires which i think is worst. But ours are tuned with some camber
I got the eibachs for 16,000 miles and my tires are wearing a little bit from the inside, nothing bad...I have to take a good look to notice that.
Maybe all of you need some alignment? Adjust the camber and you are done.

the mp3 alignment... i did ONE donut in 3" of snow (with ice on bottom). hit no pavement- f*ed up the alignment BAD. on highway its terrible. my guess is you need an alignment. my tires have been good now 
I have had some problems with the alignment, as far as the dunlops went mine wore out at around 25k but it was even wear, if you keep the alignment checked often you should be able to keep your tires longer, and becuase of the suspension that comes with this car i went with michelin pilots for the next set, that way they would last longer and have longer treadwear. And i haven't had any problems with them wearing on more on one side than the other
In December Mazda sent the dealership alignment specs to align my car and stated that should fix the problem. It hasnt... The new tires on the car are wearing on the insides the same as the dunlops...... This makes me laugh though... The Arizona Mazda regional rep who will not meet or speak with me ( I tried to set up meetings ) instructed Mazda NA to call me and tell me to rotate, balance, and ALIGN my car every 2000-3000 miles... Umm yea I am going to pay $100 every 2000-3000 miles to align the car.. not. I dont think Mazda knows how to correct this problem so I am getting the brush off.... At least the warranty does cover the suspension area 100%. But if they dont know what to do who the hell does. I have even been in touch with racing beat and they said the suspension should have the tires riding evenly on the pavement. Once again since there is only 1500 of us and the most common response from Mazda is " well no one else has had this problem".. Well I am the first then.. bulls*** there is 10-20 plus posts of MP3'ers having the same problem...

Well yea. My dunlops blew out on the inside it wore so badly. And mazda is the one who "aligend" & "airs" the tires whenever i have it serviced. There so damn stupid. Mine blew out right before the free way it was both front and rear all were close to blowing out cuz' the very very inside is so badly worn. It was mainly from the camber being off. But even more because the Dumb Ass Mazda guy had not enough air pressure in them because he wanted it to "ride smoother" I was all its My F***ing car dont F*** with my tire pressures! and they still do! piss me off

It wasn't a Mazda, but when I was in the military they bought new vans. We drive these vehicles 24 hours a day for five days then up to 10hrs on weekends. Almost immediately the tires started to wear. We'd turn it in to our motorpool who couldn't find anything wrong so they took it to the dealership. They also stated nothing was wrong that it must be the way we were driving. Finally after many tires and denials or motorpool took it to a body shop off base. Turns out when Ford made the front end their specs were wrong and the members wee off. The body shop got it on their body straightener and magically the tiresstarted to wear they way their supposed to be.I'm not saying this is the case here but it sure sound the same. We did every van we bought and charged Ford who were not happy campers, especially when ask bases did the same thing.
