What did you use to eliminate your CEL from turning on? I have word that the apex MIL eliminator does not work.

just get a 1m ohm resistor and solder it in line of the blue wire of the O2 sensor. I did it on my car and it was great for a month. (until i took my exhaust off) but for a note i ran with out it for about 2 days and my CEL came on. then i put the resistor in and it was great for a month.

If you know how to solder the MIL works perfectly

if you try and twist the s*** like speaker wire, you'll eventually get a CEL

Spend the $12 get a playskool soldering set from Radio Shack and solder the mofo on.

I have the Apex MIL eliminator on, soldered in, and it works as promised.
I got a CEL once, but hasn't re-appeared after resetting the ECU.
It's been almost 3 months for me now.

I have had the apex mil on for about 7,000 miles and I just butt spliced and heat shrinked it. Works like a charm.

sold

Just ordered it. We'll put this thread to rest. I'll post pics when I'm done installing the exhaust. O ya got my FMIC too, ya thats right.

I guess Im the only one the MIL eliminator didnt work for. I soldered it on and everything. Oh well. By the way if the cel is on due to my rear O2 sensor that does not put my car into safe mode right? By safe mode i mean telling the ecu to dump more fuel as not to damage my car. this would only happen if the cel was due to the first O2 sensor being bad right? Thanks

not quite sure. I thought it would throw the car into limp mode but my buddy said his DSM doesn't if it throws the 2nd o2 sensor code. a quick serach my pull an answer, worth a try.

I got a CEL before installing the MIL eliminator.
It seemed that i was burning fuel like mad (if that's what limp mode does).
