(huh)I'm looking at two CAI's the Injen RD Series and the F5 Fujita. Any input, Pros-cons, comparisons, install pics would be appreiciated.

i got the injen on my 3 and there was a noticeable gain in power, the only thing tho is that it comes all the way down by the front tire and every time i wash my car with an undercarriage spray it soaks my filter and it sucks in so much water that my engine will stall out, i dont know if thats the same model your looking at or if all cai's go down into that same spot, but make see if you can get short ram

or you can avoid the car wash that sprays underneath you car....I have an Injen CAI and haven't sucked up any water. And during winter I use the car wash.

you can see the filter there. It sits just below the headlight, in behind

I have the F5 CAI and I woul not recomend it. It has a 3inch diamater for the pipe which will cause your MAF to have funny numbers and the car will not be smooth... I am trying to save up some spare money to but either a MPS cold air intake or the injen.

You can by a bypass filter which is what I have on mine and it help with your hydrolocking problem :)

CAI? Noticeable gain in power???????? Lol
I have an AEM one. I'm probably the only person on here with the AEM CAI.
But I did get it for 110$. And I like it. A lot.

Remember to check the model number if you're going to buy a bypass filter.
I made the mistake of not doing so and am left with a bypass filter that's like 1/2 inch or bigger that will not fit the AEM CAI.

Fujita F5 CAI is what I have. Installed in July 2008. Changed Air Filter @ 32k.
No Issues with water. Only thing I had trouble with was the MAF wires being pulled out. Stupid me Did not remove the wires from the
battery box. But it was fixed. Trouble Free other than that. Noticeable gain/noise over 3krpm+.

if the filter is placed in the same location with the same size pipe, its not gonna be a real big difference between the two...

hey i was just going over some old posts here and came across this one.... where did you get your bypass filter that you mentioned for your cold air intake?
