i got the "fixed" bushings from mazda and theyre great. no noise whatsoever. im still waiting for front ones to come in. saided18 also was there. he had all of them replaced too. it works., not sure for how long though. but what a difference.

had mine done (not for the first time :), but first time for 156D) first week of January...now, first week of Feb. I need new ones. :(

4 days for me :), 3 different times we tried the 156d's, same results.

Although, I got the guys to tape them up 1st week of Jan, and we've have lasted until now with NO clunk. not a sound. I don't l ike the idea of Tape holding it together, but hey, it's the best she's been in about 6 months. We've taped in the past, and it's only last at the most 6 weeks.

Take bushings off. Clean up sway bar REAL good. Take teflon tape, wrap around sway bar where the bushings go on. Make tape VERY thick. Take new bushings, put on top of tape.

Done.

Doesn't work forever, but when done right, it works a lot longer then just then the new 156D by themselves.

it has been about 3 days so far and all is good! let me tell you that it makes the car handle a hell of alot better. OMG i ripp threw turns like a mo fo now. i hope they last.

yo LaZaBLuEMp3 how much time did i take you to change them. it doesn't look that hard to do.

so did you end up doing the teflon tape technique or the plastic technique that LaZaBLuEMp3 described.?

well, we all know the problem now (bushing's inner diameter and S.bar's outer diameter are the same). so isn't it possible to expand s.bar's diameter by puting a metal sleeve around it (well i mean at the point where bushings fit)? then the diameter would grow and the bshings will fit tightly ;) . Didnt mean to offend any of the experts here, i just thought of sharing u ppl .

latez guyz

i only did the rear ones

they just got the front ones in today. they worked great but im scared to find out that theyre not gonna for long. i guess ill have the dealership do the teflon thing. it didnt cost me nething cause i had the guy that was doing my exhaust put em on. no charge!
