BTCC Civic Type R (pics)

I know this isn't a Honda message board, but I thought you guys might think was cool. BTCC stands for British Touring Car Championship. This car has somewhere betweem 270-290bhp. That a lot of power from an NA 4 cylinder, 2.0 liter of course.

The paint job makes the front end look a little bizzare. However it doesn't look that bad, looks a lot like an older Civic Hatchback.

And I'd drive a Pinto if it performed like this machine

actually, i like hondas, i owned a '94 civic ex coupe, and thought about getting a honda before i got this car. If its not a protege doesn't mean its ugly but sometimes ya just hafta call it like it is.

The only Honda I ever owned was a weed wacker. I drove Hondas as well but I woul not own one because everyone else has them kinda like the FOCUS. Just my Cup of Tea.

I think the proper term for that car is "style challenged". It just lacks something, the power is GREAT however, so who cares what it looks like I guess. It could spank all of our asses!
I wish Mazda would create a protege for the BTCC then we could give honda some compitetion, maybe.

I found these by searching on Google, they have a cool search that lets you look for pictures only. I typed in Civic Type R and all these results showed up. You;d be suprised at what you can find when you actually decide to look. I'll keep posting pics if I find other interesting shots. I keep my posting of non-Protege images to the off-topic forum.
