Broken window ? storm or vandalism ?
Hey guys/girls

Had another bad storm last night and now the rear window is broken.
I'm thinking its storm and not any kind of vandalism...

I have a long drive coming up this weekend, I'm not sure I'll be able to schedule and fix this by then.
You all think driving will be fine ? should I duct tape it on the inside and outside ?

what do you all think the replacement cost will be ?

thoughts ?

Wow that sucks, I do know that throwing ceramic pieces (like from a spark plug) can shatter a window like that... Kids used to that in my old neighborhood to steal crap out of cars.

Damn....seeing how nothing could come straight down and impact the window enough to break it (ie hail) id look over the rest of the passenger side and see if there are any more dings. If not, i would say vandalism

yeah there's nothing on the body at all. and there was no hail last night, just a bad storm and lots of rain.
there are no impact marks on the glass either..but it does look like something hit it at one point and the spider web spread from there on...
$160 to replace :/

NOT A DROP...no water got in. thank god for that one.

Glass form ebay is $69 shipped. Installation took less than 1 hour... is not that hard..

thanks for the info, I'll probably go that approach next time around...but for now the guy's coming to do it tomorrow and in time for my weekend trip.
