Hey, all. I've been getting a squeak-squeak-squeak, high-pitched and not only when braking, from my front end for a week or so now. Been told it's probably brake pads at the wear indicators, so I took the wheels off and looked at the pads. I think they're probably shot. Here are the pics:

If they are in fact shot, I need to find a cheap way to keep going until we have some more $$ for better brakes. We've been hit with almost $1000 in vet and medical bills lately, and it looks like more are coming.
So what are my options? I've read that these rotors cannot be machined...is that true? If so, this gets really hard for me.
How terrible are Autozone's Duralast Gold pads for the MS6? They're cheaply priced, and I think with some help I could install them myself...
If not, I'll probably pick up some EBC green stuff pads and still try a self install....
