Brake pads

Apparently I need to replace the front pads on the big brake kits on 2022 cx5turbo. Got the kit installed last spring. Did not think the pads would wear down already after 15k-18k miles Can't order from Corksport until Monday. Anyone know of a pads part number I could get from an auto parts store that would work? Just started to notice a random mild grind which is what made me check on them.

You determined that your brake pads need to be replaced, because you here a "mild grinding sound?"

Why don't you actually check to see how much pad is left? I bet you still got lots.

You need to take your brakes apart and clean them, not replace the pads.

I could see my outer drivers side is down more than the passenger side and the drivers is where I heard the noise. Sadly I dont have tools I used to in order to pull things apart.

Most likely there is just some dirt or debris stuck between the rotor and pad that you need to clean off.
