brake pads and springs

i have to replace my brake pads and i was looking at getting the carbon fiber kvr's does anyone know if they are good or not and why i am replacing them i was looking for some springs to lower my mp3 i want it to sit level though does anyone have any pics of your car with springs on it. i want the tien spring that are like 200 240 $$$ but i dont know if they are good i dont want anything to expensive. please let me know thanks.

FunkeyMonkey01 has Tiens on his car and they look sweet not sure about performance though.

The carbon KVR's are good pads for the price, but I did find they needed some heat in them to bite hard.
