Brake Lights don't turn off

Hello,

Just had a brake job done, rear calipers, rotors and pads all around. After bleeding the brakes they realized that the brake lights don't go out anymore. If you lift up on the brake peddle, they'll shut off, but otherwise stay on at all times.

Hubby pulled the fuse to save my battery, but does anyone know what this is and how to (hopefully cheaply!) fix it?

I don't think it's related, but FYI - it currently has no rear e-brake cables because they melded onto the rear calipers, and we're waiting on parts.

Check your break switch under the pedal, it might have failed and stuck in the "on" position.

If your ebrakes are disconnected as you say. this would caus e the light to stay on.
