BPV Only

that first pic is actually dual action, not only does it vent atmospherically, but its also a recirculation at the same time... i would bet money that it recirculates when it sees low vacuum situations (low speed/idle shifts) and vents atmospherically when it sees strong vacuum (high rev shifts)
yes the second pic would work if u recirculate back into the intake

OR!!...

If u wanna vent to the atmosphere, you could do a MAF upstream mod...

that is my car in the first pic its a turbosmart dual port recirclating back into the cai i hate it it fing sucks you still get the turkey a bit then the bov goes off quit because its recirclating but if you block off the recircle hoes it sounds awesome real loud with a bit of turkey and stalling issues whould like to fix this problem can someone help me on that

your right on the money

i want to vent back into the intake because, and this is how you would solve your problem, if you run a BOV only and vent only back into the atmosphere then you will stall out. The way to fix this is relocate the MAF to the coldpipe. I didnt want to do this because it puts the MAF under pressure and it requires more couplers and s*** and you more likely to have a bad seal. So what i wanted to do is to take a BOV only and recirculate it back into the intake so i can run BPV only and not cause stalling.

run a dual set up, or relocate your maf.....its best for the car and you wont have turkey or stalling.

i got the ion fmic and pipes , if i keep the maf where it is and put the bpv back on take the recirclating tube off the bov and block it off would the help kill the frekin turkey

My HKS is vented back in the cai, I modded the nipple to get an 1" wide ID and totally killed the turkey.
No stalling ever, no MAF relocation, just more fun and quicker venting for faster reactions!

the third pic is how i tapped from BPV to the brake booster and BOV to the brake booster. NO MORE TURKEY! make sure you make the vac line from the BOV as short as possible. hope this helps.

thank alote man (cool). On your set up your bpv is running off the hot pipe and on mine it would be running of the cold pipe would that make a differance

so your not even running a bpv at all

i am going to do the exact same setup as TiPapoute except with a greddy bov. i can get the performance advantages by recirculating the air and i dont have to relocate the maf, which looks crappy anyway.

so my set up is pretty much the same as the picture above and iam still getting turkey

or you can get the boostsciences rdv, put a 1" nipple on the hotpipe, and 1" nipple on the intake and the turkey should be gone. dont forget that no matter what method you choose you need to run a dedicated vac line to the bov or bpv whatever you choose. the dedicated line allows it to open completeley
