BOV upgrades ?

Knowing how the BOV does not vent entirely to atmosphere but also gets recycled thru.... to what extent have most of you gone thru to change over to the greddy BOV s or is their a detailed thread i can do a search on? thank you

first don't bring up the whole bypass valve/BOV thing.

and second all I did was put a HKS open vent valve on a hard pipe that connects the turbo to the i/c

never stalls
sounds badass
looks awesome

buy one and have a hard pipe made (recomend HKS SSQ)

still doesn't answer my Question. i have to Block 1 side off what did everyone use to effectivley block it off without loss. really want to get this RFL on this weekend to see how well it will perform.

Pics please

Did anyone read the article on BOVs in the June issue of Sportcompactcar magazine? I thought the article was lacking info on which were good and which werent. Didnt seem to give a good review on the HKS? Can any of you techies provide some insite?

Some BOV's leak, some don't.. If you want a good one, you can't go wrong with stock. My friend had a Greddy Type-S on his turbo Integra and it ran like crap, the thing leaked too much. A lot of WRX owners who had this blow off valve soon switched to GFB, Forge, and the HKS SSQV.. 3 good pieces.. Personally it's just a matter of taste.. the HKS SSQV sounds like a high pitched whistle, while most others have a loud "whoosh" sound. the Turboxs RFL is very loud (realy f----n loud) to be exact.. Bleh.. BOV's don't do much anyways, save your money for some real performance mods..

Even though I just ordered a HKS SSQV :D
