Why is my BOV venting to the air. I have a Greddy BOV and it keeps venting to the atmosphere. How do i remedy this? (lick)

The greddy BOV is a Blow Off Valve. If you want it to recirc you need to by 1 recirculating adapter (19mm) which screws onto the end of the valve (where air comes out) and run a 3/4" (19mm) hose from that adapter to the hole in your intake track where the old stock By Pass Valve used to go.

By the way, what kind of car do you have? If this is a Turboed MP5 you won't have the hole in the stock intake pipeing. This is found only in MSPs. You'll need to either connect the valve to your intake track somewhere after the MAF sensor (recirculating) or relocate the MAF sensor to a postion after your BOV so it doesn't measure any air that gets released out of the system by the BOV. Both set ups have been done. Do some searches on BOV or stalling in the forced induction section.

Are you talking about when the car is cold and the BOV is constantly contantly open until the car warms up at which point the BOV shuts and stays shut? IF so, my 1G mitsu BOV is doind the same thing.
