random question,,, can a TRZ Poly dogbone Rear Mount be installed without jacking/lifting your car from the ground?.?. there might be barely enough space under there.... right??? haha.... because I want to install the item myself, but I don't have a jack.

I went on a mod shopping spree last night, TRZ rear mount, Forge BPV (sonic FTW!), and rally armor mudflaps. I am going to avoid my credit card bill for as long as possible, lol.

thx

If you can fit under the car I don't see a problem. But if you can fit under the car when its not on a jack then you have an eating disorder and i'll buy you a hamburger and force it down your throat.

The rear motor mount is not load bearing so the motor doesn't have to be supported to take off the mount.

If you need a jack, then I know you close to Boston but you could make the trek out here and I could install it for you. Rear wheels need to come off to install the rally armor flaps anyway so you will need to have a jack one way or the other.

The autozones by me are selling a 2 ton jack and 2 - 2 ton jackstands for 40 bucks. You pretty much need to jack the car up to get the MM in.

thx 4 info on the lifts

p.s. - I got an email update from protegegarage saying that my TRZ motor mounts were 'being assembled' or something along those lines. whatsup with that, I would think that the manufacturer pre-assembles them and then sells to distributor.

well, when we run out of stock on mounts, thats when TRZ has to "assemble" more of them for us ;). these mounts are exceedingly popular and sell faster than what TRZ can often make for us. they're a small company (feel free to check their website) of one or two fabricators and can only do much. it is the only mount i prefer to sell for either the rear or the transmission because it is the mount with the indisputable best quality record in terms of simply not breaking the way the competitors' have. we keep as many on hand as TRZ can make for us. hope that clarifies matters.

thx, that does help. from the e-mail it sounded like protege garage was assembling the mounts, but I understand now.

glad to hear you have so much confidence in these mounts, I can't wait to try them out! PiKKKKKKKKKKKKAaaaaaaaaaaaCHHHHUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUU!!!!!!! :]
