Bose system main speaker upgrade

I have a 2024 CX-5 Signature with the Bose system. I know it has a modified eq from the amp and such, but I really wan5 to upgrade the speakers. I see tons of non-Bose speaker upgrades, but rarely any Bose upgrades. Has anyone replaced the cheap door speakers with something aftermarket and had any luck?

I don’t want to go with processors or line level stuff, just a speaker upgrade. I have a JBL Basshub I’ll probably install soon, but the sound to me in the stock system is quite bland, muddy sounding.

Suggestions? Thanks!

I saw a post where someone did this and thought it wasn't worth it. I can't remember if it was on here or somewhere else.
