Bose factory audio.

So I heard that with the factory bose amp you can hook up RCA's for subs. is this true? has anyone hooked subs up to a factory bose amp?

Just installed a sub and amp yesterday...I used a Line out converter and spliced into the rear speaker inputs (i.e. before input to the Bose amp) and used the solid blue wire for remote.
I can't remember the other wire colours off hand, but I'm sure I saved it somewhere.
