Bose audio dvd question

Can the Bose audio system play a DVD with mp3 files on it?

I have a 2014.

My guess is no. You'd have to have a CD/DVD player to do that and I highly doubt Mazda put that in the cx5. Doubt any car company does that. You'd probably need aftermarket for that.

Probably just better off dropping all your music onto a USB flash drive. Might be easier with changing music around too.

I tried a DVD on my friends Audi and it played it.
