Bosch Platinum +4

i went from bosch+ 2 to bosch +4 and have had nothing but problems.. im turbo'd and it has given me all kinds of codes and fuel cut, back fires and everything.. i have come to the conclusion that they suck for my car... deffinatly will be switching them out for some NKG's as soon as i have the money.

How about this reason? The tip is centered directly in the middle of the cylinder dome for equal controlled flame kernel dispersion. With a multi tip plug the spark is no longer centered and now your combustion is firing at a different point in the cylinder randomly, which can cause hots spots that lead to pre-ignition, or detonation, or combustion flame kernel issues. Where the position of the spark fires in the cylinder effectively changes the ignition timing slightly. Engineers designed the cylinder domes a certain way so that the plug fires in a certain location consistently each time for most effective combustion.

All that stuff is marketing hype. Only way you'll get a bigger stronger spark is through a CDI module and an ignition coil pack upgrade.

im down for that reason.. thus why i am changing plugs.. I dont have a plasma box yet.. geffinatly staying with nkg

I put in Bosche Platinum +4's when I bought my P5 last October and she still runs just fine. No codes, stuttering, backfires or anything. I ran the same plugs in my Hondas too without any problems and reccomended them to a friend in his Toyota without any problems.

But I'll buy some NGK's next week and put those in and see if I notice a difference...
