Is that the metal nipple of the back of the intake that has the tee in it already that splits on into two ????.Alejo_NIN said:people advise to tap it from the vaccum line to the brake booster
others argue that it makes no difference and to tap it from the nipple on top of the mani where the BPV and WGA get their vaccum and boost from
the latter one is where i tapped it, no problems
what is the "BPV and WGA"??dirtysouth_msp said:Blue? Just follow the line that is t'ed off to to BPV and WGA back to the IM. That will work fine. Tap the line close to the IM.
Wow,dirtysouth_msp said:My bad, BPV = By Pass Valve & WGA = Wastegate Actuator.
Using the brake booster may be better (I really don't know), but this has worked fine for me.
Look at the white t-fitting. That is where I have it tapped.

this is were I have my boost gauge installed between the vac line and bpv.dirtysouth_msp said:Looking at the picture of the 626 mani sold by ProtegeGarage, it looks it has the same vac nipple on top. So, I don't think it would be a problem. Even if it is different, it would not be hard to find another vac source with all the lines we have under our hood.
