the veilside type front bumper would be awesome. also if you are considering some kind of carbon fiber front lip, can you make one for the 03.5 front end?? and another suggestion: a carbon fiber wing. i MUST have a carbon fiber wing, but i cant seem to find one that looks good. most of the universals that i've seen are fugly.

- chrisTruc what front bumper is that? Looks like what Phrisco has on his MSP. Does anyone have any pics of the Veilside kits? I dont see why a CF lip would be a problem for the 03.5. I will see what I can do. Also for spoilers... would you like to see just a full CF version of both the MSP 03 and 03.5 spoiler.. or something that looks different?

Just say "no" to an evo front end. It's been done on every import and doesn't look right no matter how good the fabrication. The evo is a very boxy car and can make this look work where our cars are more arched and look awkward with the front end.

Spicy, if you start making CF parts for the 03.5, i will start planning for a divorce because you will be getting all of my money. ans that STI kit is tight all the way around, rodscalip5. Proteges need some kits representative of that kind of qualty and style. If you can do this Spice, you will have the protege community at your feet with entire paychecks in hand.
no she wont'... those kits are mega bucks. people would rather spend on turbo than a body kit, especially considering most people don't own speeds. and those who do are satisfied with their stock look and would rather spend money on fine tuning their turbos. duh!
Tonka - i am assuming the kits are for all proteges not just MSP's and also from what i am understanding these kits are going to be custom built one offs, therefore of coarse they should not be as expensive as you would expect from someone like say Veilside or C West, or Ings+1 etc. I am sure that Spicy realizes that these are kits built for cars that sell for 20K and less and therefore need be of a reasonable cost for someone who is driving that kind of car. Everybody knows we're not driving high dollar performance vehicles here.
Yea if you look at our kits for other cars, we have very good pricing. We are looking to develop kits for Protege's, not just the MSP.
Which leads me to my next question... what are the differences in the body styles? What years does it change?
I know that the MP3, MSP, and P5 have the same front bumper, and that is different from the normal Protege....But then the 03.5 MSP front bumper is also different, because It has that additional lip. But that can be removed....

I did a quick photoshop of that cf lip i posted earlier onto redwagon's p5.
you get the idea, its a crappy photoshop though.
edit: dumped the car, makes the lip look alot better. The angles weren't right on the si pic, and this one though, so it makes the lip look stuck out somewhat.
