Body Kit Suggestions Needed.

Yea we do have Bomex, Blitz, and Black Widow kits available. But not for the Protege..

the bodies on the 2001-2003 proteges all have the same front and sides, but not the back for the P5. and doesn t matter the year cuz there all the same even the MSP.

Yea I know that the 03.5 MSP has that additional lip, but can't it be removed easliy??

The MSP 2003.5 front end is an added lip in the MP3/P5/MSP bumper. Just remove the lip and voila, you get the same thing.

I want that half front spoiler RoadcaliP5 posted. I'd buy it right away it looks awesome. I like how our bumper looks i just want to add a lip to make it lower/sexier

the only case in which it would matter is for a front lip. a front bumper (entire bumper) that fits a Protege5 should fit a MP3 or MSP of any year. ( i think )

I can't imagine SOMEONE would put an additional lip ON the already additional MSP 2003.5 lip. That would look crazy... not just look crazy.

It should be MSP/MP3/P5. Same front bumper!

Edit: The P5 bumper has that stupid light in it tough... altough for an added lip it shouldn't cause a problem.

no i mean a front lip to replace the 03.5 lip. From what I understand, if you remove the lip, it is NOT the same as the 03 front end. They are slightly different. Can anyone confirm this?

Its the same front end i'm 99.9% sure. People with P5's have put the MSP 2003.5 lip on their bumpers without any problems.

And why would Mazda redesign a front bumper that looks 99% the same just to add a lip to it afterswards. Might as well make the bumper WITH the lip. hehe

a few things.

I love the EVO5, its one of my favorite cars of all time, but i dont care for the EVO5 bumper on a protege, jsut too much.

To me the protege has awesome really clean lines very similar to the is300. My friend bought a used is300 at the same time i got my msp and when parked side by side we noticed a lot of similaritied in the lines they have that make them so attractive (i believe the sportcross designers also did the p5)

For that reason I would love to see a clean kit for the protege like the veilside front end seen above on the is300. Or maybe something derived from the MAZDASPEED6 concept. Something like CWest's kits might be nice for the protege but even those would be on the more extreme end of the spectrum IMO. Throw a little more mazdaspeed6 into the postert front end and you might be onto something!

As for CF evo hood. Everyone is making em now, and if you make one, i HIGHLY HIGHLY HIGHLY reccomend you make a true EVO5 style which includes RAM air like the DGM hood AND evo vents like the WW one. I might sell my WW one for one of those if they were produced and looked good.

I like the rear lip on the silver WRX on page 3. If you can come up with a lip to cover the lines on the rear bumper of the P5.

Spicy, they stopped making 323 in '94. NO such thing as protege/323 95-98!!!

It looks good as it is as far as years for protege go.

01+ all the same bumper for MP3, MSP, P5.

01+ regular pro has different bumpers

Protege 5 is like 5 inches shorter than regular protege. Make sure you have right size side skirts!

03.5 MSP has a little lip that can be removed in under 5 minutes. It's hold in by a few screws. Remove the lip - same bumper underneath as your MSP and MP3.

Protege 5 has those little bumper markers on the front bumper...

that should sum it up.

Spicy- i agree with Slug about the ram air vent. and dont forget about carbon fiber wings like those of the MP3 and and 03.5 MSP!! someone even mentioned in anouther thread the possibility of a carbon fiber trunck lid. that may be cool.

protege5 side skirts are the same length as sedan ones. the 5" difference comes after the rear wheels.
