Blueprotegelx Turbo Build

Yah, u don't even need both lines anymore. Just yank one off and loop the other one onto it. Done.

That's exactly what I was thinking about doing! I began to think that really there's no point in connecting two long lines when you can just loop one of the lines over!

EDIT: Wasn't able to drive it cause I couldn't get a ride to go pick it up, but it started right up the other day. Only problem is my read does not work, it was going out before I dropped it off last. It's okay, the radio does not interfere with boosting. lol. Cause once boosted all I need to listen to is the turbo spooling!

!!!!!!!!!!!!!Boosting begins tomorrow @ 7AM!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Sorry to keep you guys waiting. Got up at 615, and finally made it to parents. Had to stop and get oil pan, stop at my bro's to show him where I wanted oil return fitting welded as well as some vacuum hose. Hopefully he'll be done by 3ish. lol

Heading down to compression test now.

Compression tests were 190psi straight across! That's right I have a strong motor, not bad I figure for 95k miles. Pulled plugs out and there was hardly any carbon on them and they were last changed 4-5 years ago.

So far I've: Drained oil, installed MSP ECU, installed Oil adapter plate and ran oil feed to front, ran wire from aftermarket oil sending unit on adapter plate to cabin, pcv and other valve installed, OBX header unbolted from head but bottom bolts are rusted so my dad is getting ready to run down and get me a smaller blade for saw-saw.

i am talking about the springs bolts! pics are being taken, probably not as much should be, but they do the justice.

yeah I know I should! that's why my car started hesitating awhile back cause of the plugs. But i've got new ones for the turbo.

waiting on my dad to get back with blade so i can cut the "spring bolts" and then i'll start on coolant lines and mani/turbo.

Are they actually spring bolts? Like there's a spring connected to the bolt? or is it just a spring that a washer and the bolt compresses?

I guess I'll find out, I always thought it was just a spring and a bolt compressing it. If so, i'll run down and get two not a big deal.

use regular bolts and you'll be fine.
