It is honestly more motivating for me to boost, when individuals sub to this thread. I really wish school was out so I can get all this installed. I'm going to get a picture of it all just sitting in my room boxed up piled to the ceiling. lol.
Update: I ordered a magnetic oil drain plug yesterday and am now trying to figure out if the msp stock oil feed line will fit into the Prosport oil adapter plate with or without an adapter. It'd be easier if I had the parts with me to actually test. If someone can let me know I'd appreciate it...
The real question is 25 days from what day? lol. Today, yesterday, day before, tomo? lol. We will see. ha. My g/f just told me we are going to NY as soon as school is out, so it looks like when we get back July 4th/5th, the build will begin around that week. My bday is July 2nd, I wish my g/f and parents would get me car parts. they fixed my fender which was awesome of them-their awesome!
Just got my Magnetic Oil pan drain plug. I now need to find out if the msp oil feed line will fit directly to Oil adapter plate or if I will need a fitting. Anyone???
I will be coming to one this summer. I have all the free time coming up. Once I do get it turbo'd, I'm thinking about painting the wheels this summer and getting the tint fixed. So may be someone who has a decent camera locally can help me out with some nice shots.
It looks as though I will just be running the Oil feed line the way I originially planned.
-MSP feed line connected to t-fitting to back of block with stock oil sensor placed @ t-fitting and only running my aftermarket oil pressure gauge to oil adapter plate for now.
I'll have to take a look yours. I did not know you had it installed for "easy removal." I tried to find a way to do that, and a few members on here mentioned a few ways with some connectors from hardware store or what not.
It may not be a serious interest to some, but if I would like to remove the afc at a later point due to selling car, or just some other for instance, then I would like to be able to remove it without cutting wires and reconnecting. It's just my preference for plug n play.
I have read that the BOV can be placed anywhere after the MAF (intake mani-MAF-BOV-FMIC) when I relocate it to the cold pipe. But does it matter how close the bov is to the MAF? I was trying to think of a way to save on piping and if it would be possible to just attach my BOV pipe that is <1ft to the MAF coupler? Or is there a minimum amount of inches the MAF needs to be from the BOV? Thus it would consist of:
MAF->2.75" reducer coupler to 2.5"->BOV pipe with flange->and then universal piping to FMIC.
Also is it correct that the MAF needs to be about 12" away from the throttle body? or does that matter as well? I can not find my file I saved with the detailed information.
