Blueprotegelx Turbo Build

lol. We were just talking in my thread earlier about how people who don't follow my progress day by day, don't know exactly whats going on and then you proved that point even further. lol.

I did the 5lug swap so I can't roll on my rotas anymore, the wheels I'm on now came with the p5 and are only temporary, I'm getting my RHs in 2 weeks, now I think we're all straightened out. :D

Back to turbo time please :)

he did the 5 lug swap and the only wheels he had were for the Pro5 so there on there for now until he gets his RHs

I knew you had the 17" TSW's, I just hadn't posted in your thread and thought i'd do so now. I saw the pics you posted of the car with them on, I just hadn't had time to read through all your posts yet cause I've been working landscaping. But I usually read through your thread.

Turbo time: waiting on my dad still!

Just to let everyone know, nothing has worked out! nothing by god. lol

My biggest problem, which I am at, is the fact that i am unable to route any piping due to my fans being to big. So I ran to Oreilly's (Only place open at 945 with aftermarket fans) and got two expensive thin fans. Their only temporary b/c together they cost 150, Ebay has them for 2 for 50 so FU OReilly's! It's been raining all day and i've been working through it. My bro just finished the oil pan, well he's coworker so now I have to wait til he gets here. He said to get jb weld b/c he doesn't think the guy did that well of a job welding! Great! End of story...I'm up all night. Any advice text the phone! Don't bother calling b/c where I'm at there is service here and there so eventually i'll get your texts! 859-391-8872...gotta figure out how to route this piping!

Note to self and any other future turboer: Buy a fmic kit with piping made for msp, don't go thinking your mr. custom and can hack it yourself! save yourself the headache by God!! End Note!

can you take some pictures of how you WANT to route it?? i might be able to help?? and where did you get the kit from?

don't know if this will help you, but you could try routing it this way. there was more room on this side for me.

happy bday btw!!!
weird that i got my car on the same day.. 7 years ago
when i wake up, i want to see that it is all done.

Boost oh boost, where for out thy boost? in other words oh how much i missed boost! ha. I ended up staying up all night to finish, so i couldn't get as much detailed pics. I ran across few problems: who ever put sealant on oil pan last was like concrete, i forgot when i decided to use the oil adapter plate to replace the hole on the t fitting where I was going to put the stock oil sensor. so when i started the car oil sprayed everywhere, felt like an idiot! my bro said is there a plug that's suppose to go there or is that just an additional way for your oil to drain and motor to blow! lol.

Also my car overheated bad, i need to put more coolant in. the intercooler piping was a hassle b/c i had to cut certain parts of my bumper. i kept telling myself i am not going to be that kid who hacks up my bumper and it looks tacky, so i rerouted piping! thanks a lot jnaoto for the pic and texting me. glad i put my number up b/c i was stressed and just knowing that atleast someone cared about the turbo project relieved me some. lol. thanks again.

Question: i put the msp coolant line on. the one part that is on the side of the engine that goes to the throttle body i blocked off. there is another spot where a hose goes on the part of the line that would be in the back part of the engine. where does it originaly go? i ended up blocking it off b/c i thought this was one of the lines you block for the throttle body bypass. let me know so if it is a concern i can fix before driving car.

i also need to fix my fans b/c they did not kick on. when installing them, is it okay for me cut the connectors off and just connect, or should i leave the connectors? i gotta run to store. pics will be up monday.

I am pretty impressed though for the fact that I had no issue with coolant or oil leaks (other than forgetting to put a plug in the oil tee.)

The car did run pretty rough as if it wanted to shut down everytime I came to a stop. Would this mean that I need a tune? The AFR's were around 15 and 16. I will try and get a video once I fix overheating issue.

my bro sending me some front pics.
