That looks good, do you think that you could take a fiew close up pics of were the hose connects to the engin on the passanger side please.

Thats a real clean engin bay

hey just curious where did you grab that wrinkle black? I am looking for wrinkle red for mine.
I need it badly. I am also probably going to get some red samco's eventually.

unfortunately i got my black at the local B&B/schucks/checker but I have ONLY seen them carry the black, no red. Im not sure if you have to order it or just find a bigger store with a wider selection since the ones here are kinda small.

ill be able to take a closer pic of the bottom hose tomorrow, it has started raining again now.

Looks great, can't wait to get mine. I have a couple of unrelated questions tho: 1) where did you get your PCV vent filter? and 2) don't you need to plug the hole on the CAI?

I was gonna ask the exact same thing. Why not jsut run a hose from the intake to the PCV as it's meant to be?

p5sundevil: I don't know if it matters, but in that 2nd pic, I moved the hose on all the way to that line where the pipe appears to get bigger. That seemed to be the stock location.

yah but when i stretched it out it would always shrink back to the size you see in the pic, so i made sure that there was enough hose on it that the clamp was on the inside of the little lip at the end of the pipe, so it cant slide off, but I will see what i can do now that it has had the engine heat a little and see if I can stretch it a bit.

as for the CAI the silicone tube that came with it flattened under heat and vaccum pressure and was therefor useles most of the time, so i do have something in the hole plugging the outlet on the cai and put the breather on the valve cover, plus i like the look a little better than the hose.

They carried the K&N breather with a little pack of filter oil for 20.99 at B&B, i didnt want to spend that much on a little filter so I bought the APC one you see from Schucks for 11.99.
