Blown Turbo!! I Think!!

check your air filter

if your air filter becomes too restricted the turbo will start to pull oil from the
compressor shaft seal. if this happens it will start to dammage the bearings.
i have replaced many Turbocharger assemblies on the 7.3 and the 6.0 power strokes because people dont check or replace their air filters.

well I took the turbo out of my car and the intake side was shot. The blade were smashed and well all messed up. So I sent it out to mpnick to have the works done!!!

I just got 2 MPNick stock turbo stage 1 upgrades done!!!! got them back Friday and they look cool and so does the S-pipes and the Exhaust manifolds he also port and polishes along with the turbos and puts the GT28R guts in them.

not bad for $580 each, baby!!!!

let me tell you what your problem is... you listened to those idiots about the dynos and how they roam the earth. Everyone who has passed kindergarten knows that dinosaurs are extinct. They died a million years ago. I dont know why these ****-ups say otherwise or why they feel the need to post this on a car forum. I mean we are here to aid each other in our car projects. SO let me give you a little advice about this problem of yours. What you need to do is roll up your damn sleeve insert your hand at the intake and pull the gnome that got tangled up in your compressor wheel. He may resist a little and you need to look out for his teeth cause the little bastard will bite you. If you cant get him out with your hands just spray insecticide in there and smoke the little ****** out. Good luck and cheerio!

Now that was just a little to much !!!(braindead
I I took the turbo off and the compressor was shoot... So I sent it to nick and the turbo "looks" great but I am still having problems now. No Boost!! and that loud ass grinding whistle from the turbo intake side.. Any other possibles!

I am looking for the service manual for the speed but no luck so far!!I have only found p5's. I received a code for "system running lean" and my o2 sensor I can understand the o2 sensor because I am cat less... so first off I am going to check and change my injectors and or fuel system. I have some spare parts so after that I will see...

"The codes was #p1170 I think"

Hey you know what mine is making a high pitch winning noise it doesn't sound good either I haven't really had a chance to look into it but I hope its not bad like yours was.
