dude get a gt30r or a good turbo from protege garage! the gt28r is only 1500 and is way more effeciant better than ours.. The gt28r is bigger than my friends evo9 turbo wich is double the size of ours... Bigger turbo=better more efficiant boost= more power with less boost

i wanan say since they ran fuel out of it they ****** the fuel pump and ill take a wild guess and say since the regular 6 uses normal injection methods and the mzr motor uses direct injection they didnt think anything different and bought the normal 6 fuel pump. Like i said thats just a guess i would think there would be a different fuel pump for the mzr but i could be wrong

go buy a obd2 scanner at autozone

Better yet, rent one.

Dude get it in your head. It is not the turbo. The people that you took it too ****** it up and are telling you some BS. They might have fried the fuel pump. But check you MAF sensor. I will not be surprised if it is disconnected.

im starting to see that. first off what and where is the maf sensor. and second im beginning to think that i have the wrong fuel pump installed. its actually looking like i may get to drive my car again in 2008

Mass Airflow Sensor - Inline on you intake pipe. Relays data to car computer for proper air/fuel ratios. Look around, make sure everything is plugged in, check all fuses. Turn key to Accessory postion and listen for fuel pump.

i was outside playing with the throttle and i managed to get it up to 3500 rpms so i had someone else hold the rpms to 3500 and i looked under the hood the turbo was glowing a really bright redwould that be cause by a clog in the turbo, or intercooler or catalytic converter???

i forgot to mention that when i first start the vehicle it acts as if its starving for fuel but then it does start and when it does rev up to 3500 rpms it makes a strange humming noise that comes and goes then it makes a popping sound sounds like detonation to me but im not real sure.

ummm yea a glowing turbo does not sound good
something somewhere in your exhaust is clogged orrrr
you ****** up your engine internals when u were tryin to break the land speed record.....

ok so im through messing with the car what do yall suggest. could it be a clogged turbo or would that be in the exhaust. its not something inside of the engine is it?? i would think this problem would be exhaust related but yall are the experts.

i think you have fuel issues and your combustion process is happening on the manifold and the turbo instead of the cylinder i wouldnt rev it anymore youve probably allready ****** up the turbo enough

Well, the turbo does glow bright red when it is operating under boost at 3500 rpm. However, considering your adventures, it could indeed have a crushed exhaust pipe or the cat could have collapsed inside restricting the exhaust. Guessing isn't going to fix it though, and all dealer shops are staffed with idiots unless you luck out and find one smart person. A visual will trell the tale. Inspect the exhaust pipes and pull the second cat (two bolts) and look through it. You should be able to see through the honeycomb with your eyeball lined up with the openings. Hold a shop light at the other end. Good luck with this and your maturity issues.

yes i hold the peddle to the floor start the car while continuing to hold the peddle to the floor and it will run at 700 rpms. then i can release the peddle completly and it drops to 600 rpms. but if i ease back into the throttle after it its 700 rpms it just dies.

I dont know how this DI really works but on regular multi port/direct port
if you hold the gas pedal at WOT while on start up it shuts the injectors off... (on newer vehicles) i didnt read the whole story. to long and usless junk in it...

I'm not going to be rude about your situation, but honestly I thought you were joking when you told the story... (nervous)
