Black plastic scratches and headliner cleaning

Anybody have any insights in how to remove or go about getting these scratches out of the black plastic?

Also looking for ways to best clean this headliner. The guy I bought it from did a number on it with his kids. I know not to use too much liquid or there is risk of the adhesive coming undone

Magic Erasers are also good for cleaning light-colored headliners and sunshades. Worth trying.

Unfortunately I don’t think there is a way to get rid of the scratches in the plastic. They look too deep.

As for the headliner, try a foaming cleaner. It won’t leave too much liquid behind and it will cling to the fabric. Then just lightly brush it in and dab off the residue. If it doesn’t work the first time, try again. Better to do multiple light applications versus drenching the area and scrubbing hard.
