Black Housing for P5 headlights

canada has the black housing... U.S. has the chrome...

so, if I find a Canadian Mazda dealership on the internet, do you think they would ship me a set of the blacked housings

if you pay for it, yes. us 2003 p5's do not have the black housings.

you can always do it yourself by removing the headlights, taking them apart, and spray painting it black but too much trouble =D

personally i liek our all clear heads, except the round amber turn signal at night. you can easily swap it out for a clear bulb though

if suggest you buy it if you have money to burn, if not, look for a trade or paint it black yourself!

can't trade, I do most of my driving at night, and I would rather not attempt to paint mine in case I screw something up, so even though I don't have the money to burn right now, soon enough I will

nckid. man come on down my way one weekend and we will get you all fixed up. I painted mine black about 2 weeks ago. Really nothing to it just time consuming. Oh and when you paint them black the amber signal is not as noticable.

New headlights = $600+++ or

Paint= $6, silicone sealant free if you come down you can use the rest of mine. also I have a heat gun which is what I used for mine. Or I can easily show you how to do them. It did take me 2 days but I was working on another project at the same time and got a bit anal with the painting. they turned out great though. Will get some pics for you this weekend.

sounds good man. Oh, did you get my pm I sent you the other day? And how was Saturday? I saw a few of the pics on the thread about the meet. Looked like fun, wish I could have made it. I was supposed to get my windows tinted but no, the guy never called me back to give me directions to his house. So I missed it for nothing.

man, I'm pissed about Saturday. The reason I couldn't go was b/c this dude was supposed to tint my windows and he didn't have a another day to do them for a couple of weeks ( it's not a business, it's just this guy I know). So I figured I'd better to stay in town and let him do them this weekend. Well, I try and try to get ahold of him Sat. to meet up and he's not at home, ALL ******* DAY! Needless to say I was ill.

I called Mazda in Canada eh...and they told me that the wiring harnesses for the black and chrome were not compatable...

and these were the part numbers they gave me....
