My car sat level with an spl audio set up in the back (Hifonics Olympus 2415, 4 cube ported box, and 2000w amp.) After I removed the gear this winter, I was unhappy with the rake so i removed 1 coil from the rear springs with a cutting wheel to level the car. As I am quite aware this is not an accepted practice in vehicle modification, it worked, and the car handles fine. I never chose Teins made for standard 3 to set autox records anyway. I just wanted a good stance until I purchased some proper coilovers. On another note, my fronts did settle an additional .5" after 25k miles of use, so overall, the car is pretty low. None of my struts are leaking/blown, which is a good thing, because my engine rebuild left me tapped for the time being. Flame suit is on!

Looks great! I love the gold/black and the 17s weigh nothing! Did you trade with Jeff? I thought I remember him having bronze or gold RPF1s. Love the car anyways man.

I'm prety sure it doesn't matter if you cut one coil, because there is 4 coil on top that are all stick together.

Nice catch! I did indeed trade Jeff for these. I think we are both pretty happy with our new looks! His cwp looks sick with the diamond black bbs's.

Took my fogs out so my bumper would secure properly with the fmic. I was tired of one side popping out of the bracket by the lt headlight! Also finished spraying 3rd brake light, so they are all red now. The Star Specs on the RPF1's were too chewed up for daily use, so I put back on the Evo X's, with a gold accent stripe now to give a little separation from the body and match the brakes.

Not evryone's cup of tea, but I fit a WRX hood scoop to provide some airflow to the back of the engine. I thought about wrapping the mani, but I didn't want to fight the warranty war if it cracked. I could cook a 3 course meal on my hood after a hard run, so this should let some heat escape.
