Dumb question but one that I'm curious about. How does the HIBOOST FMIC mount. I see in that comparison picture the ION mounts and I've seen it in person, but never the HIBOOST>..... please explalin how the Intercooler mounts to the frame. ie. I see no mounting tabs on the HIBOOST Intercooler.
There are two mounting tabs on the bottom. Actually welded to the back of the core, but basically at the bottom. They attach in basicaly the same places the the Ion mounts on the bottom.
With the HiBoost's lesser size (and weight) they can get away with that. No way in hell could the Ion or Spool cores could ever mount with just two tabs though.
