Bicycle Advice

I plan to try getting my bicycle inside my new hatch tomorrow (with the front tire removed.)
Any suggestions on how to get it in there without banging or scratching anything? Is there an easy way to place the bike in the hatch area? I fear my handle bars or pedals scratching up the interior. I would NOT be happy. Thanks for any advice.

Try taping some micro fiber cloths over the pedals and such... A couple microfibers and blue painter's tape = done.

Grt idea! I have plenty of small microfiber cloths and can easily just wrap them around the pedals and add a little tape.

That's what I do. I lay a blanket down in the hatch area (queen size), and it covers all the way up to the back of the front seats. I use a microfiber towel to cover the one spot where the front fork touches the side of the hatch. Other than that, nothing really scrapes. My bike is fairly large, too, as I'm 6'3" tall.
