Guide: BG Engine Performance Restorer Oil Flush Works!

This is a big claim to say a can of cleaner in the oil can restore power and mpg.
with my high milage cx 5 that has never been treated with this type of product or similar , i also did not believe my self until i tried it and i can say it was money well spent 😁. You should give it a try also. 👍🏼👍🏼👍🏼

Smells like BS to me.

Hey! Is that you STP?

Dunno how many miles are on the Mazda in the vid but that motor sure sounds bad in that underneath shot.

BG? Isn't that the brand that we've seen in use by some of the dealerships?

how about just use quality oil and quality gas and never have to do anything else...I have been maintaining cars since the 70's and never have to add any extras.....heck most manufacturers tell you not to add oil additives of any type....kind of like supplements it is a billion dollar industry and someone is getting rich...

At 74k miles on my 2014, many of which are shorter hops, I'm considering Valvoline Restore and Protect for my next oil change. Might help prevent stuck rings and oil consumption problem in the future.

There is a youtube video of a mechanics shop using the stuff and it really did nothing. Muchmore positive stuff on line with Valvoline Restore and Protect cleaning up varnished and gummed up engines and most importantly, freeing gummed up piston rings on bad oil consumers like LS V8's, Honda's V6's with DCM, etc.

I agree it looks like an attractive option. However ….

I checked the Valvoline website in Australia and used the “oil selector” tool to input my 2024 CX5 Akera 2.5 NA model details, and it did not come up with the Restore and Protect as either the recommended or an optional oil choice….. they say that they base these recommendations on the manufacturer’s specs for oil.

Does the US Valcoline website have a similar oil selection took and if so, what does it come up with for CX5?
