best turbo kit

^^funny you say that ogsp5, the same kit im running :D, i think my track times speak for the kit itself, seeing how i have the best times at the low boost i was running...plus a shattered piston rofl.

Matthew...bottom line, you don't own the kit, you don't run the kit every day, you havent installed the kit yourself, you have not taken it to the track..you have not taken it to the dyno.. you have not had Juan call you back personally on his dime from south america.. you have not had him send you parts at his cost... you have not had Juan personally spend time with you on the phone diagnosing an issue...

SO DON'T pass judgement on his products....

just started installing my MAM sleeper kit today. the quality of the products are excellent. so far fitment is a breeze! the customer service has been great also. for me it was between the higboost and MAM. either and you can't go wrong, imho. good luck with your decision. by the way, you'll get great support from those here on the forum!!

Ok...support... SAME THING.

Matt is equating SERVICE as part of the PRoduct which is FAIR to do...

the message is the same...

When you buy a product do you not add or take away value from the product based on its how it is backed by (service)?

realize, he said nothing about the product itself, ACTUALLY he said the product is very good, he DID say that the CUSTOMER support for the PRODUCT was not good, this clear it up for you any??

well, since we can't comment on other kits..I'll comment on the one i have. The people who designed my kit cut several corners, and left many variable un-planned for. Their Intercooler is really kinda sucky, and has horribel heatsoak..even in the dead winter...I suggest sticking away from this kit, as I will be ditching it as soon as I get the money to...sure, it's an ok, everyday, driver...but if you're like me, and you like to give your car hell sometimes..she just won't do....PS. I'm running a bone stock MSP turbo kit....dumping it in the future for MAM Thumper kit..or Hi-Boost Hi power..depends on hoiw it looks(performance wise, and cosmetically wise)..also, before I purchase a kit, I will research the manufacturer even deeper than just the forums..I will call, and check out how i get treated, and how fast i get calls back, and replies to things....etc..as should anyone looking for a new turbo kit....hey Hi-Boost...any specs on the hi-power kit you're speaking of?

mp5jeff... I don't need things cleared up for me...I am not some noob that walked on to this board yesterday.

I perfectly understand what everyone is saying...

I did say in my post if you do not own the product, how can you comment on it's level of customer support? Does that make sense jeff?

If I seem pissed...its because people love pissing on products they have no experience on...

BUT...the when someone does post a bad experience on a product (Matt + MPI+ MPI nick) he gets shitted on....

Then if someone posts a good review on a product (like I did a long time ago on Hiboost) it turns into a xxx Vs xxx...

I will shut up now....

Popcorn anyone?
I've got a box of mini chocolate bars(halloween ones) and a pop...I'm set..oh, and I've got some good tunes...and a comfy chair...I'm as ready as I'll ever be

Hint of Jalapeno Tostitos :)

but on the topic --- no matter what kit you get --- make sure you tune it and if you are not doing it yourself -- trust the ones you let do it get it done properly :)

....
a product doesn't speak for customer support, the person providing it does...ill let the people who have dealt with juan finish that statement :D, honestly i've never had a problem when i have sent him pms about the haltech etc.. he gets back to me in a somewhat timely manner and i have no complaint, but if others do that's their perogative...

I just wanted to refresh the info about our turbo kit. I am not comparing one to another and I do not want to start a xxx vs xxx.

Beau's kit look very good and there is market for both of us and many more here.

I am just saying that no other kit compares to ours for the price.

Matthew, I may be a little hard to get at times but most times I would get back to all questions every day. I do not have time to sit in front of a computer all day to wait to see what they are saying about our product or what not. I usually check my e mails or PMs early in the morning or late at night. Ahmad and I were in contact and he told me that he needed the map by Saturday. He got it on saturday.
When someone is installing a kit, which is usually during a weekend, I keep in touch with them through all the installation to help in any way I can no matter what time it is.

We are behind our products 100%. There are hundreds using our products and very happy about quality, performance and customer service. The proof is almost 100 FMIC kits for MSP sold in 5 months with customer support, time of delivery etc.

Finally we agree on something.... :)

If ANYONE HAS HAD A BAD EXPERIENCE it is their perogative and right (and they should as it will 1) let others know 2) force that company to better itself) to do so.

My point is that someone that does not own the kit...it is irresponsible to call out that Juan has bad customer service... if that person owns the kit...then by all means fire away.

i'll just add my 2 cents, i personally haven't dealt with juan, but seth from spd racing has. true customer service can be slow sometimes. but you do get the support you need. When they were installing my kit there was a problem with the wiring harness but before they figured it out juan sent us another Haltech unit from his pocket, just to be sure i didn't get a broken on at first. then juan went through each wire in the wiring harness with seth to finally get it sorted out.
