injen cai. It sounds like a blowoff valve and you gain hp at the same time. got mine for $220. Either that or a downpipe would definetly be my picks.

Save for Hard Pipes......... CAI, you only get the sound, not a really big increase. You should go with a boost guage, a/f guage, pillar mount, MBC, colder plugs. That should hold you over....

AEM short ram intake, it has the highest dynos of all the popular intakes for the protege, Injen is more for looks

plugs and mbc bov is always good for more boost, i say look into a hks FCD...
