I was looking into getting the Injen CAI in black but if some of the other ones coming out have more gain and aren't too outrageous, maybe I'll go for one of those.

Razor - on your computer problem. If you are running a AMD Athlon 1800+ XP with 1G ram. That's more than enough to handle Dr. Sound's sig. I have an old pentium 133 with 64MB ram with a craptastic 8MB video card and it can handle it fine with DSL.

As a computer tech, it might be time to back up your data and reinstall windows. If you don't want to go through the hassle, you might want to do a basic scan disk/defrag. It might help.

My next guess would be, maybe you have another program hogging your resources.

Anyways, I'll stop cause I can keep going on with this.

Anyway, it's a computer and if people are bothering you so much why do you insist on posting? People REPEAT questions because sometimes people don't post NEW information until someone asks. Some people like to get more peoples opinions on something than maybe a thread has previously had. For example; What are the available FMIC's and what's the best. You would be quick to say "SEARCH IT!" When I want people's opions about the FMIC and maybe someone would say "Hey we are devolping a new one." Grab something to eat, and just peruse the threads. If something makes you mad then get up and get something else to eat and skip that thread for christs sake.

I have athlon 1100 (Gateway) with Dial-up Aol, and mine works fine. think you might have a problem. Bought my PC about 3yrs ago, I guess it isn't as bad as I thought it was.

BlueMP5Dave is selling an MPH intake for $150US, I think. It's as good or better than an Injen. Check it out if you're still in the market. If I didn't already have an Injen, I'd buy it in a minute.

I have the silver polished injen cai, and it is awesome. I think it is easy for a company to promise more gains when they dont even have one out yet. You can wait for them if you want, but my opinion is that injen is the way to go.

ehh.............that's why they prototyped it on my car 2 months ago.
they dont have one out yet because unlike Injen, they want to release a product without any problems.

since you are relatively new to the forums u weren't here when Gotpez got her prototype Injen. It made her car stall. She had to go back to them and they had to redesign it.

now i have nothing against an Injen CAI. I love it. It works great, i have driven cars with it on. They wanted to be the first ones on the market with a CAI for MSP. And they were.

The only problem I ran into when installing the Injen on a friends MSP was the the silicone coupler that connects from the Turbo to the lower Injen pipe was too small and took massive brute force to get it on legitimatly. I hope I spelled that right. Anyone have this problem during the install?

No problems during the install, and no problems with it on my car now. Get what you want, my $.02 is to go with the injen though
