Awesome man thanks. Now my next question. Is it something I can put in myself, or should I just pay to have it done?

have any experience installing car parts? or just tinkering with anything? if youve never taken anything apart and put it back together i wouldnt recommend trying this.

gotta say i was pretty nervous about cutting the frame of my car, but it wasnt that bad once i got going. relocating the power steering cooler and the ac condensor was a real pain and took some real problem solving. the power steering cooler can just be shoved behind this one support bracket and flush up on the radiator. the ac condensor was alot worse bc you cant move it too far or youll crack a line so be careful. i basically just moved mine back and down really far out of the way.

do you plan to use the stock/or replacement bypass valve? bov? or dual setup?

another thing that helps is ziplock bags. when you take the bumper/mudguards off put all of the nuts/bolts/clips into bags and label them. same for anything else you need to take off the car and put back on later.

I'm about to do a custom intercooler on my MSP, and I wanted to know if it is possible to route your piping so that you can still use your CAI, beause I've never seen a set up with an FMIC and a CAI together. if so post pics if you can.

Dual setup = running the stock (or replacement) bypass valve as well as an aftermarket BOV.

yea basically every kit assumes that you have a CAI. the hot pipe loops up from the turbo outlet and over the radiator hose & CAI, down thru a small opening right behind the grill (under the right side), across the front of the car behind the bumper and down to the IC. cold pipe goes under the radiator/fan and under the cai piping.

dual setup is just like Kaldonis said it is. you run your bov along with your stock/replacement bypass valve which is supposed to prevent stalling. i had it but never got it to work. i knew when it liked to stall/dip so i could compensate for it though. when you run a bov youre releasing air that is metered by your maf sensor. so in essence fuel is dumped in bc there is missing air and this basically floods the engine. thats why you see sti's and whatnot shooting flames when they are catless and run an atmospheric bov.

i recommend relocating your maf sensor to your cold pipe and place your bov behind that. ie-intake---turbo---intercooler---bov---maf---throttlebody. i did it, plenty of others have and not one complaint. mine is alittle extra ordinary bc of my injector but you get the idea:

i still experienced stalling. i know i had the right setup tho. i ran independent vacuum lines for my bov and my bpv. hks ssqv bov i used was the non adjustable so that could have been the problem.

yes. its what holds up the radiator for now. id take it out but then id need brackets which im not going to spend money on. ive been meaning to look around the local junkyard to see if they have any proteges. full sized radiator is prolly fairly cheap.
