Best Color Temp HID Fogs??

it's gonna be kinda tough unless you get the same brand as the stock ones. the color temp for the low beams should be like 4300K i believe, but honestly trying to match the color with different companies might not work the way you want unless you see them in person to compare.

it's like you wear size 13 nike and automatically assume that new balance 13s will fit the same way

i would personally like to get yellow, then make the fogs independant so i could use them during the day as a kind of DRL. im kinda jealous of GM in that aspect because i think their amber DRLs are a lot better than the white halogens in most other cars with DRL. the amber colors make the car stand out more in the daytime

3000k is done alot but always looks good or you could do and super high color temp PM me if you need a good deal on a Kit i get a really good deal and prolly will be cheaper than everyone else after shipping.

I got 3000K for my fogs but I don't really like it. The output on the pavement is a perfect shade of yellow but when you look at the lights (if you were a car passing on the other side of the road) its more of a dull light yellow. It looked even worse with lamin-x. I guess thats just the brand of HID I got though. My 10000K low beams look great all around though.

get 30000k and rock the pink! j/k ! my favorite color temps is anywhere inbetween the range of 8 and 12k

stock is 4300 ish... i think that or 5000k looks the best. 6000k is definitely blue and as far as visibility goes its reduced slightly

It's almost impossible to match the fogs with your lowbeams because your lowbeams go through a projector vs the fog which does not.

i realize that...this is why i was curious what temp would be the "best" option since nothing is a perfect match. 3000k is safe because then u arent really trying to match anything.

i have 4500k bulbs in my fogs... with stock HID low beams...it looks great. do that, if u have stock hids

I think the best option then would just be to try to find some "ultra white" regular bulbs versus spending the extra money on HID's if you want it to color match... And if you don't like that option you can always return the bulbs and go with 3000k (:

You can try these too, for 15 bucks you dont really have much to lose

thats a great idea and i thought about that...however i cant find a kit that offers 4500k...when u ebay 4500k kits it jumps to $270 and up for some reason.

I called DDM tuning for you and they said they were 12 volt 55 watt.

you are the man homie, sorry i didnt do it myself...im like 12hrs away in timezone from home and 4 bucks a minute per call. thank u very much!! Is 55 watt the stock wattage?
