i need a new mp3 ecu
or what would be a good replacement option?

i have a boosted mp3 and somehow the ecu got water logged?
no idea how it happened, car sat for about a month in the snow. when the weather got nicer i went to start the car, it cranked but wouldnt fire.
car was getting no signal from the ecu

when we pulled the ecu out it was all rusted up...

anyway i know what new ecus cost, what else would work for my setup?

you can get a regular protege ecu or even an msp ecu but you may have to retune since you won't have the advanced timing... my best bet would be to contact Ken, Captain_KRM_P5 he can get deals on mazda parts or even a stand alone ems.

You have to have a protege ECU to control the alternator, the instrument panel, and I think a few other things, so you can't just buy a standalone.
