Best All Season Tires

It's time for some new tires. I've been searching around and so far I'm liking the BF Goodrich g-Force Super Sport A/S, but since they're so new there are no reviews.

Any suggestions?

If you're looking for tires to hold up on ice. You should try the Michelin X-ice tires(shrug)

I'm not particularly looking for tires for ice, it's just that when it snow by my house, there's generally a thick layer of ice covered by a layer of snow. I'm now looking at the Continental Extreme Contact DWS. They seem to do the best in all 4 seasons, which is what I'm looking for.

There is no such thing as a tire that is good in all 4 seasons, you always have to compromise somewhere. (at least in my opinion) You are WAY better off buying one set of nice summer tires and a set of winter tires. I have had Blizzaks on my car for 3 winters (in Wisconsin) and I will never go back to "All Season" tires ever again. I've also have had BF Goodrich g-Force KDWs on my car for 2 summers and they stick like snot. Just my 2 cents.

truthfully with the MSP the best option is to have dedicated snow tires. I tried all seasons my first chicago winter with the car and realized real quick that to be safe I needed snow tires. I've run blizzaks 2 seasons now and couldn't be happier. Plus I bought them used on craigslist for $200 for the set on steelies!!

But you see, you guys that are saying get a dedicated set of each live in areas that get feet of snow. I live less than a mile from the beach so when it "snows" once every 5 years, it's normally a slick coating of ice covered by maybe an inch of snow. I also don't have unlimited money for that either.

But back to the Continentals. They really seen to be the best option.

Haha yeah. Believe it or not, that was the most snowfall we'd seen in 20 years. There's never more than a few inches here.

I have the Continental DWS tires. They do great in the snow here in Wisconsin.

I used Yokohoma Avids for awhile and hankooks (but they dont make the hankook i had anymore) both worked well as allseasons

I just picked up some Kumho LX Platinum All-Seasons and I've had them for about two weeks now. I love them. I will never go back to Falken tires except for the Azenis 615 ever again. The LX Platinums have enough grip since I got them in 225 wide, they are dead quiet, and they cut through rain like butter. My wife had General Altimax on her Matrix before and those were nice too, and a bit cheaper. My friend has run Yokohama Avid and swears by them and I would have bought them had I not gotten the Kumhos for free. Bridgestone Potenzas are nice, but they are more $$ than most.

Have the Yokohama Avids going on 40K miles and will get my second winter with them this year, I live in WI and the car has worked well in all kinds of weather and hooks up at the track as well as the OEM's did.
