Lawmower racing - sheesh - my neighbor had one 15 years ago that did 35 MPH with the blade off and popped wheelies - stock Craftsman. Who could've guessed he coulda been a contender with a few mods? Looks like fun, tho.
Hondas doing 8 sec 1/4 miles - oh well, they still don't SOUND good enough for me.....
Billiards on ESPN - I'm a huge 9-ball fanatic - won a few local tourneys and a bit of cash in my day. I'll watch it anytime it's on.
Belt sander races - I was never serious, but if you've never let one fly, it's hysterical. Go try it - preferrably in Home Depot or Sears when they are REALLY busy.

I'm still waiting for Roman Candle battles in the woods to be a pro sport - I'd would've been in the top 5 whan I was 15.....
Now - I think we need to talk about some other incredibly stupid but WILDLY entertaining ESPN sports - the World's Strongest Man competition (how may variations on carrying heavy-ass stuff can they come up with, anyway?), and the Outdoor Challenge or whatever the hell it's called - big lumberjack mofo's chopping wood. Why the hell can't I shut that off? How come the Hot Saw, and the one where they chop into a telephone pole, and use a board as a step to get to the top of the pole, and then chop the top off the pole is so frigging RIVETING??
