Before and After photos of your Mazda

Id like some input on this one. Which should be next Mod. Short Shift kit? Or lowering springs?

Any suspension mods should come first. But a short shifter kit is also a very good choice, but I'd still go with the springs.

suspension first, the handling of these cars are amazing already but once you mod the suspension and make it even better OHHH the difference, i would get though coilovers, then a rear sway bar, i had springs for 60k+ miles and loved em but now that im on coils, way better and the adjustability is amazing. but thats just my input

i have BC Racing coilovers, they go for about 1000, i got lucking and pretty much stole them just like my wheels, one of my boy's hooked me up cuz he wanted H7R springs with Koni yellows, but i believe you can get them off ebay.

as far as the drop goes, i dont know the specs on them but this is

ask around there are guys on here that know more than I about the coils and drops, Kaze and Chefspot know alot they both have helped me with deciding on whether or not i am going to mod the coils themselves to go lower. but thats a decision that is on going

Both springs and coilovers have their ups and downs.
But with any aftermarket springs/coils/shocks/struts, the ride quality will definitely go down.
It all depends on what your preference is really. But with coilovers, you'll get the best performance.

Same ones as LESLIE got Eibach sportlines. about 1.8" drop on both front and back.

Oh okay that makes sense. How much would a 1 inch drop change your ride? I'm thinking about doing that but I have my reservations about making the ride rougher. But I would do springs and thats about it

same here. at least for now. i want it a little lower and a bit more agressive. but i think im still going to be going for the short shifter. want that shrot throw plus the improved bushings. i can handle being up high for a little bit longer. besides living in miami during the wet season im not going to be flying around corners too much anyways

Springs are giong to be a smoother ride over coils any day i personally have them set all the way stiff in the rear and in the middle in the front, so its a really rough ride, but with them set to all the way soft it was a nice ride, but when i had my springs it was really smooth, the only thing that i think changed in ride quality was the handling, and tires make a huge difference too. keep that in mind for when you do suspension upgrades
