a while back some of you might remember that i installed eibach 15mm type 4 spacers with the stock wheels. the stance looks incredible, however, over the span since i've had them installed i've noticed that there are a few bumps in my travels that if i'm at speed, and turning right in any capacity, there is a portion of the front of the driver side rear fender that hits the tire a bit. it pulls the inner lip out and makes it even more vulnerable to getting hit with the tire again. it also pulls a little bit off of the tire.
i've successfully pushed the piece back in place with some heat and a nylon brush handle, but it's happened twice and i think the combination of my weight, plus turning and making a bit of body roll, PLUS the bump is making this something that has to be addressed ASAP.
so, i am going to stop over at a trusted place and have them look to see about rolling my fenders. i'd do it myself but i'm willing to pay these guys as i know they have alot of experience.
has anyone else had this issue with the front of the rear fender hitting the outer portion of the tire a bit in certain situations? if you are looking at the driver side rear wheel, the spot would be at like 10:00 or 10:30...in that range. and, it only happens on the one side which makes total sense because i'm alone most of the time in my car (we take my wife's car or the dog's montero most of the time)
also, any pics of the finished product would be welcomed. i'm curious how much in terms of radius the rolling goes, typically.
thanks.
