BC coilover install pics review

You need to be pretty precise. You can do it with toe plates if you know what you're doing and take careful measurements. But you can't really eyeball it.

finally took it for a test drive today. handling was great! solid as heck. again, it was the drop out of the box. don't know how much lower than stock that is. and the dampers at 14 front and 13 rear. i probably won't go any stiffer right now since it's also a daily driver... felt plenty firm for some curvy roads.

here are photos of the drop out of the box, the test drive, and a friendly reminder!

just curious.....? i'm not sure if i notice or know the difference, but why are there shorter endlinks for the front sway bar included with the kit? the position of the sway bar remains the same, but the endlinks are obviously shorter and attach at a different point on the damper than the stock ones.

also, two of the brake line brackets were too small. i had to file them out a bit to get the brake line through. not sure what happened at the BC factory on that one....!

i cant comment on the brake line issue. but because the DC shocks r so short, they need smaller end links to keep the sway bar from being preloaded or twisted into an unusable angle

BCs are feeling good so far, but still adjusting the damper stiffness to my taste. the fronts are obviously easy to access, but does anyone have tricks for making the rears easier to reach? pulling out the panel under the rear windshield is a pain in the butt...

can't comment yet, as i haven't gone through the full range of settings. started at 14 front and 13 rear, feels rock solid in the corners! needs to be softer for daily driving around town. like i said, i just want the rear knobs to be more accessible for when i hit the mountain roads then be able to switch it back for city driving. what settings have you tried?

BC sells extenders that make it easy to get to... check it out.. suppliers that sell the coilovers also sell the extenders.

i found it best to set them and forget them

even when i autox, the rear always stay at 4 and fronts at 3.

these settings are out of 5, not 36 lol

ah... extensions, of course. just ordered some.
i'm obviously new to all this, and i'm totally hooked!
