bagged MSP rubbing

I have a mazdaspeed, i have diablo 7 harts 19x8 right now and i have rubbing issues right now. I just installed air bags on the car and i really need to get new rims. I found a set i like that are 18x7.5 with a 42 offset, the tire size would be 205/40/18. With the car fully dropped do you think these rims will work? This would be my third set of rims and i would hate to buy new ones again that don't fit right. Anyone know if they will work?

8" is too wide.. but if you want to bag a car correctly, you should do some wheel well modifications anyway, so i'd suggest that instead of getting different rims.

I have already rolled the rear and they still don't tuck. 19x8 is way to big but do you think the 18x7.5 with a 42 offset and a 205 tire will fit? Thanks

i dunno, how much is the camber altered when the car is slammed? is it only rubbing on the fenders.. or on the inside of the wheel well

Well, the guy with the 19's probably has 7.5" wide rim, with a +48 offset (i would think) and a 215/35/19 tire. what tire size are you running right now?

The rims i got now are 19x8 with a 225/35/19 but im getting rid of these rims cause they won't work, im concerned about the rims im gonna buy i want to make sure they will fit before i get them. They are 18x7.5 with a 205/40/18 tire with a 42 offset. I need to know if they will tuck when i drop the air out of the bags. I found this on a website.

Bolt Pattern: 5x114.3 (5x4.5); Offset: 43 to 54mm; Rims: up to 18x7.5.
Tires: up to 235x651mm. OEM: 215/45-17 (215x626mm)

These are the specs on our cars, so i would assume the 42 offset on the rims i want to get would be cutting it close, but then again there is a 205/40 tire so it might make it, what do you guys think?

i got rims, 17x7 with a 42offset, i dotn rub fullyloaded but, i think if i lower it will start to rub

Mmmmm, slammed....

I can't seem any rim that i really like that has a very big offset, the best i can find is a 18x7.5 with a 45 offset. Anyone know what the offset of those nichi's that are on that yellow p5? I've already rolled my back fenderwells. If i can figure out the offset of those nichi's i guess i would be able to tell if these rims with the 45 offset would work. Anyone think they can help?

I'll post a couple of quick picks and put the good ones up in the next couple of days. The air ride is Mac-Air air cylinders which are some of the best you can get, and best of all, they are easily the strongest air cylinders out there, completely designed for cars, so they aren't cylinders made to work. They are a complete bolt in application and my car could be put back to stock in under 4 hours! Nothing cut or modified. That was a key factor for me since my car is a lease. Actually the spare tire well was modified a little, it was completely cut out and dropped 2" to accomodate the air tanks for the system so it remains fairly stealth. The system is quite fast, i've actually had to slow it down. I am using the dakota digital controller, which was a little on the expensive site ($1200USD) but it gives me complete control, front/back, side to side, individual wheels, etc. as well it gives me a digital read out of each corners air pressure so I can see what is going on. The unit also has 4 presets for different ride levels, and can monitor the levels, so if a corner gets low it will add air so everything is always level. Plus the best part is I have complete remote control of the air ride which is great for freaking people out at the car shows. I usually wait until they are at the front of the car, the front valves are in the grill and extremely loud.
