Bad cop, good cop

hey phreek, what's your tint % on your front windows? i'm headed back to cali after next year, so i don't want to have to shell out to take the tint off. i'm at 35%. bareley noticeable at night.

I don't know the percent numbers, when I got it done they called it medium. It's pretty dark though.

yo gotta be careful though, the CHP (California Highway Patrol) Street-Racing division is basically a group of cops that will FLAT-OUT LIE to right you a ticket or arrest you. CHP is main reason why I will never be pulled over in cali..Their going to have to work for their income..A bunch of hack ignorant hot rod cops who don't know a damn thing about import cars..

I have always done my best to respect cops because they do a difficult and important job. But my respect has finally fallen through completely of late.

Instances like Phreek's along with a personal experience: I showed up in court for a past due reg. ticket and the cop accidentally marked "driving on a revoked license" which has a penalty of 120 days in jail". I had to go to the DMV, pay for driving records, pay to park in the city twice, and sweat bullets for fear of being tried for some crime I never commited. All was cleared in the end but cops, the legal system, regional and state governments as a whole disappoint me.

Wow, I totally forgot about the part when he asked what the strut bar was. I think cuz it's red it draws attention. I told him what it was for and he was like, "o, so it's for off roading" then I explained it was stock and he didn't belive me. So I told him to go to Hine down the street and look at every P5 and MSP there. Then he finally dropped the subject. Thats when he went into the cat fit. Yeah, I go off roading in my lowered P5, and it still has paint! I'm thinking about ditching work this saturday so I can go out to the desert and suck sand into my CAI. I havn't been off roading in my P5 since...this morning after ditching work. Hell, I'll just go tomorrow! My new job is now off roading P5s without sucking sand or mud into the CAI and keeping the paint on the car. COMMON SENSE!!!!

its not cops that suck, both my brothers are cops..just stupid situations like this need to be completely avoided..Its rediculous, the only training they get to be on the CHP-SR squad is to memorize a bunch of bulls*** state requirements and how to "spot" problems and potentially fatal issue with cars. Which includes, thinking intakes are turbos, pulling over anything with clear tailights, issuing blind tickets on tint requirments, even thought they CANT test it on the street, let alone, at night!..cops are rediculous and even though many traffic accidents and deaths are caused by street racing every year, they need to take into account that at least 90% of people with modified cars..DONT RACE..thats why they call them ricers..Leave it to the cops though.they're always a couple years behind..sooner or later..they'll get their s*** straight..
