bad Bolts

Anyone notice how bad the bolts they use in the car are? I have had problems with everything I have done with this car. Now when putting the strut in I snapped the bolt. Has anyone had similar problems or atleast notice how these bolts strip and just make a mess of anything?

Torque wrenches are a wonderful thing.

I did snap off a 10mm bolt trying to remove it on my 6 a few years ago. but i just drilled it out, so it wasnt a big deal.

Yeah I didnt really have time to **** with it so I just took it in and let firestone **** me on the price. Since they were the only near by tire shop had to go with them. Better get it over with fast then hastle with it

Bolts are fine. Don't be so ham fisted fat fingered aggressive. Small bolts will snap. As stated look up the torque specs and use a torque wrench. That's what they are for.
