AWR motor mount

You'll have vibration at idle with the A/C on while stopped. After you start moving, you'll have a hard time noticing it.

I first bought the 88dur. I spend a lot of time in my car as I'm in sales. The vibration at low rpm was very noticible. Enough so that when others were in my car they asked what was wrong with it. I picked up the 70dur and never looked back. The only time I notice it now is low rpm with AC on. There was a slight drop in performance from the 88, but still far better performance then stock. I would reccomend the 70 to anyone who doesn't plan on hitting the track every weekend.

I just installed the 88 the other day and there is some serious vibes now; at idle, turning the wheel while parked, with the AC on. But I actually don't mind it at all and I'm sure it will lessen over time. I do notice now that I get more clunk shifting from 1st to 2nd, anyone experience the same?
( I also put in TWM SS1 and bushings, would that be why the clunk is more profound?)

which AWR mount? there are 3. no you shouldnt get more clunk and it wouldnt be from the SS1. the clunk should be less.

yes, somedays my car leaves me wondering why at one point i thought it was fast. lol!!!

then other days i'm like, daaaaammmm!!!!!

weird, no clunk today. I must have been shifting crappy yesterday. Is it just me or do these cars feel different everyday?

**** i wish my car was like a woman, then when it gets out of line you can just hit it.

JK! lol. dont wanna dent it lol.

i read a post on her that said the awr has had failures before.... anyone have insight to that?

if you still get a clunk after the awr mount install i would recommend getting the twm shifter with bushings because that also makes things 10x better.

I can attest to the shifter bushings for the shifter baseplate. It's kind of a pain to install if you're a big guy like me (mainly just because of taking the console out). However, there is no more spongey feeling when you're sitting in gear.

The TWM SS kit and bushings are well worth the money.

Off topic, but is there a way to reduce the amount of play in the shift linkage? Those snap-on ball and cups are sloppy as hell. Would be nice to reduce some of that play.

when i had my lancer, Kartboy made shifter bushings that went in the linkage's and it was awesome. made such good difference.
wish we had some action like that.
maybe a well written email to kartboy would change that.
