Hey guys i just ran my second event with the Hoosiers on Sunday.
There was really no competition for me in open Dstock (only 2 entrants) so i decided to run ProDS instead. (plus there's a well setup and well driven ITR that runs ProDS as well and i wanted to see how i stacked up.)

Ended up coming 7th out of 12 in the pro class (beating the ITR by 2 tenths). (yippy)
The class was extremely competitive with only 1.2 seconds separating 1st from 12th. (in 7th i was .8 off the leader).
Finished 13th in overall PAX out of 152 drivers.

So, the problems:
The car felt really solid once again, but i'm having a little trouble with the tires.
Apparently, you are supposed to run *really* high pressures with the Hoosier A6s up front. (says the guy in the ITR and a few others in pro class). These guys were running like 52psi (cold) up front!!!
I originally planned on running 42 front and 33 rear. But after these guys mentioned this i kicked the fronts up to 48 (rears were still fine at 33).
On all of my runs, i was getting some wheelspin. BUT the tires were rolling over to about where they should. So one would think to eliminate wheelspin, drop the pressure, but then that might make them roll over too much.

Please help!
Any suggestions or experience with this would be greatly appreciated.

I run my 225/40x17 Hoosier A6s at 48 front 45 rear. I wouldn't go any lower on the front pressures as the front wheel drive chews up the edges already. As for alignment, I run about 1/8 inch toe out up front and I'm trying 1/4 inch toe out in the rear (1/8 each side).

Yes, you will get wheelspin on corner exit because the car is so tall that the body roll unweights the inside wheel. You could try a stiffer front bar, but that would add to understeer. This is the problem with a stock class car.

Nice driving. Work on seat time and keeping the car just below the absolute limit of adhesion all the time. Good luck!
