a long commute and $3.59 (during the summer, thank god it's under $3 now) for premium started to get me thinking about getting something a little more economical.

My guess though, is that with all the trading you did you lost enough $$$ that you could've kept the WRX and have afforded gas for it for a long time. It's rare when the dealer loses on a trade, but not so the customer. Just my .02.
/threadjack. My defense: I jacked for the joke.
As for the bumper/grill, my .02 on that is that it is not nearly as overdone as some others. It still shows some taste over rice, but don't think it would be my personal choice either.
I am sure that I like those wheels though.
